More video views from ONE thing

"Is it THAT bad?"

Last week I was watching my son's basketball game (which I really enjoy doing), but apparently the look on my face was reflective of someone who just got some really bad news.

"Is it THAT bad? Who are you rooting for?" the referee asked me during a break.

Clearly I did NOT look excited to be there.

A little embarrassed, I replied with an awkward chuckle. 🤦🏻‍♂️

But it reminded me of one of the best pieces of advice I give my clients and students about video.

Make sure your audience knows you are excited to talk about whatever you are sharing!

You can do this by bringing energy, or you might go further and actually tell them why you're excited to share.

(I love to do this in my YouTube videos - I even have a reminder in my video planning document).

And you know how they say the camera adds 10 pounds? It also reduces your energy level by about 50% - keep that in mind if you feel a little "over the top" while filming.

Sending you a digital high-five! ✋

Sponsored by Descript Typing this gives me a little bit of anxiety - but I know it's the right decision. Over the past few years, I’ve taught entrepreneurs how to grow their audiences (and businesses) through a variety of methods. But the more I looked at what was actually driving growth for me - and for many of the entrepreneurs I work with - the answer kept pointing back to one thing: YouTube. Without fully meaning to, I became “the YouTube guy” for a lot of people. And it’s time to stop...

Sponsored by Descript Got 2 pieces of great news lately… My 6-year-old neighbor “finally gets to meet the tooth fairy!” (He ran around our street telling everyone he finally lost his first tooth) 😁 ChatGPT is recommending YouTube videos as answers 🥳 (My channel has gotten thousands of views this year from it) More on #2 down below, but I wanted to start sharing more ways I’m using AI in my business here in the newsletter (because it’s transforming everything). But first, there’s something...

If we promise something to someone else? We do it. When a client/customer needs something? We take care of it. But there are things we should be doing in our businesses regularly that a lot of us (myself included) skip! They are tasks nobody else is checking up on, and because we are our own bosses - they just don't get done. And some of these things can have HUGE impacts on our success! So I'm excited to test out something new in Done By Lunch Pro: INTRODUCING THE QUARTERLY GLOW-UP Once...
