It feels like TikTok, Facebook & Instagram all went to Las Vegas for a wild weekend, and we got to watch it all unfold online in real time. πŸ˜†

  • Meta (owner of Facebook & Instagram) recently announced they were creating billions of fake AI profiles to engage with real ones, then changed their mind
  • Meta announced they are removing fact checkers from their platforms
  • TikTok and the video editing app CapCut got banned in the United States for several hours, but has been returned for at least 75 days

Those are just a few of the crazy happenings from the last few weeks.

And the #1 lesson from this?
