Inside: September without the hustle

Return On Effort > Everything Else

This week I've got some free stuff for you, a significant change on YouTube, and the funny YouTube lesson I learned from my Facebook post. 😁

Real quick, today is the last day to join my signature YouTube Activation Lab program, so if having consistent warm leads in your business is something you want, take 60 seconds and see if it's a good fit.

Let's jump in!

You Can Buy This Stuff Later, Or Get It Free This Week 🎉

I'm a very optimistic person, but this is actually better than I expected.

My BFF (Business Friend Forever) Elizabeth Goddard invited a bunch of brilliant entrepreneurs together to pool some of our favorite tools for online business owners.

What she's put together is a curated collection of 75+ free digital products, all designed to help you stay visible, sell more, and bring in new leads as you head into September... without being glued to your laptop.

These aren't glorified freebies or list builders. They're real, paid products - things like:

✔️ Plug-and-play templates

✔️ Evergreen sales tools

✔️ Lead gen systems

✔️ Smart strategies you can put in place now to keep momentum rolling

And you can grab as many of them as you want - totally free.

No credit card required, just take what fits.

It's called Lizzy's Summer Party and you can get anything you want for free (no limit) with my referral link, but you have to do it by Wednesday August 26th.

YOUTUBE BACKSTAGE 📲

YouTube Is Changing How They Count Views 🤦🏻‍♂️

There was just a big announcement about how YouTube is measuring views and it's created a LOT of confusion.

On our next episode of YouTube Backstage, I'll break down the news and whether or not entrepreneurs need to worry about it.

(It might actually be good news in one way!).

We'll also be trying to figure out why one of my videos lost 42% of its viewers in 30 seconds...

STORY OF THE WEEK 😀

Barely Paying Attention?

When I speak on stage about letting go of perfectionism, I sometimes start by joking that I've recently won the award for the "Most Perfect YouTube Channel."

(It's not a real award).

Last week when promoting my new workshop I put a post on Facebook using the award as the hook — and I'm pretty sure a lot of the people commenting thought it was real.

This shows 2 things:

  1. It shows how much people assume perfection IS required on YouTube
  2. People are only half-consuming our content

Both good reminders!

QUICK TIP 🚀

Are You Over-Editing Your Videos?

Many business owners spend too much time editing their videos...

Yes, we want to look professional, but how much is really required?

I just recorded a new 6-minute video to change how you look at video editing, and get it done faster:
